Lease Negotiations, The Treasury
Xact was engaged by The Treasury to assist in finalising lease negotiations for office accommodation in the Sydney CBD for the establishment of the newly formed Global Infrastructure Hub (GIH).
A suitable location had been selected at 68 Pitt Street, so the task was to negotiate the terms of the lease. The leasing issues were complicated by the fact the GIH was not a Commonwealth entity and so the usual requirements for guarantees and deposits would apply.
There was a high degree of urgency in completing lease documentation and execution so that fitout could proceed to meet GIH’s deadline.
