Cost Benefit Analysis, National Archives of Australia
|Client||National Archives of Australia|
|Timeframe||2016 - 2017|
The National Archives of Australia is the country’s primary agency that collects, preserves and provides access to important Government records. The East Block building in Parkes, ACT is the Archives' national head office. The building is open to the public every day of the year except Christmas Day and Good Friday. The building is owned by the Commonwealth and managed by the Department of Finance.
The lease for the East Block expired in early 2018. Xact was engaged to conduct a Cost Benefit Analysis to analyse lease options. Xact evaluated options, carried out market investigations, risk assessment on options, conducted financial analysis and provided evidence for recommendations made. Xact’s report provided the Archives with quantitative data and a cost analysis of recommendations.
