The Canberra Avenue Bus Transit Way is part of the ACT Government’s Strategic Public Transport Network Plan, and was designed to significantly improve bus commuter travel times. The project involved the construction of a dedicated bus lane on Canberra Avenue in Fyshwick, and incorporated an overall goal of providing an engineering solution which achieved an enhanced urban design outcome for the Canberra Avenue road corridor.

Xact was engaged as the lead consultant and project manager of a multi-disciplinary team of sub-consultants, with overall responsibility for design, document and construction of the project.
